Joomla! Radius Search

Radius Search (CMS Store & Branch Locator)

Our branch and radius search is a component for the Joomla! CMS. We can also develop a TYPO3 radius search for you if needed.

The radius search allows setting up a branch and dealer search on a Joomla website. The goal is to present visitors with the nearest providers. In addition to the radius search for the shortest distance, a category-based listing can also be used.

The Joomla component uses services provided by Google Maps for geocoding, displaying map material, and calculating routes. Maintenance is made particularly easy with a CSV import function for Excel or OpenOffice Calc.

Benefits of the Joomla Radius Search

The advantage of a true radius search compared to a ZIP code-based search is that the searcher always receives the best results (shortest distance). This increases the likelihood of a response from visitors. ZIP code-based searches have the drawback of often missing important results (at ZIP area boundaries) and the distance to offerings is unrelated to the ZIP code.
